Kuber (also known as Kubera or Kuvera), the lord of wealth and treasures, could be a demi-god in Hinduism. Kuber doesn't occupy a conspicuous position in Hindu mythology apart from his frequent mentions within the epic Ramayana because the God of gold and wealth. God Kuber is also called the King of the Yakshasas—savage beings who, because the moment they were born said, "Let us eat," were called Yakshasas.
